Ashland Downtown, Inc. - Main
Street Manager
Ashland Downtown, Inc., a non profit organization that
promotes and supports the vitality of Downtown Ashland in Upper Schuylkill
County, seeks a dynamic individual to serve as Main Street Manager.
The full time manager will be responsible for coordinating downtown
revitalization activities through the Main Street program. Qualified
candidates should have a degree or equivalent experience in more than
one of the following: grant writing, historic preservation, planning,
economic development, retailing, marketing, architectural design,
volunteer management, nonprofit management, fundraising and small
business development. Outstanding written and verbal communication
with strong computer skills using Microsoft applications are essential
and must be demonstrated. The Manager must be energetic, self-motivated,
imaginative and an accomplished organizer, capable of functioning
effectively in an independent situation, plus have proven interpersonal,
administrative and leadership skills. Competitive salary is based

Downtown Shenandoah, Inc. Main Street Manager
Downtown Shenandoah, Inc. is a 501(c)(3), non-profit
Main Street and Upper Schuylkill community dedicated to
the revitalization of Shenandoahs business district. Downtown
Shenandoah, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated, confident, assertive
individual to manage and coordinate its downtown revitalization efforts
and activities in conformance to the four point approach of the Main
Street program. The qualified candidate will have a college degree
and/or significant experience in more than one of the following areas:
management, planning, economic development, marketing, retail, architectural
design or historical preservation, volunteer recruitment and organization.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication
skills with a strong background in computer programs including Microsoft
Excel, Power Point and Publisher. Demonstrable interpersonal skills
